OEM PRObuilt Steering Box - 2480 OEM PRObuilt Steering Box - 2480

The most often neglected part of the Classic Volkswagen Drive-Train is the Steering Box. The 113415061C, which is the factory OEM part number, is the most common steering box used. It will work with *All Type 1's, Type 3's, Type 181's and anything that came with a Ball Joint front suspension.

Adjusting the steering box with the adjustment on the top of the box is often over used. As a whole, the steering box is responsible to 40% of the steering wheel play/creep in the steering system. Crazy, right? There is SO MUCH MORE that is responsible for play/creep but we as consumers assume, the steering box is the reason. Let's get into the grease and bearings of the subject...

Chassis Inspection Plate Kit - 2701 Chassis Inspection Plate Kit - 2701

A remedy recommended for many Classic Volkswagen's is the clutch tube coming loose from the stationary bracket inside the chassis tunnel. For years, the hole saw, air chisel, was used to cut open the chassis and hose clamp or zip tie the tube back to the bracket. Now, you can fix it correctly with the Chassis Inspection Plate Kit. Cutting and welding are needed to do this job perfectly.

Six Shooter Clutch Adjustment Nut - 2820 Six Shooter Clutch Adjustment Nut - 2820

Red is back for a Limited Time Only!!!

There is a wing nut that, when functioning at its best, is a FIVE-out-of-TEN experience. This original nut would allow the VW owner to adjust his clutch feel to get the right amount of pedal to disengage the clutch. But most of the time, the OEM German wingnut is no longer on the vehicle, and a Chinese soft nut was chosen, and it feels like a week of not shaving your face. Heck, have you ever tried to adjust it when it was cold outside and you were twisting this wing nut, only for you to miss a twist, and like a propeller, it slaps your finger to the point of you letting out a Go#$&#)$)*_#@)_*$*it!!! Ya, we have all been there. We gave this trick little product a pretty cool name. Yeah, I am biased. We call it the Six Shooter Clutch Adjuster.

Available in Raw Steel, Powder Coated Black, Stainless Steel and NOW, Titanium!!!

OEM PRObuilt Pedal Assembly Service - 1450 OEM PRObuilt Pedal Assembly Service - 1450

Debuting on November 24th, 2023, the PRO's are proud to introduce the PRObuilt Pedal Assembly Service! This is a service of your existing pedal assembly, meaning it can not be purchased outright, no exceptions. It is built on LHD (Left Hand Drive) only.

Once purchased, the PRO's will email you a prepaid shipping label to pay for the shipping of your pedal assembly. You can then drop it off at your local FedEx DropOff location or a Walgreens location near you.

Once received, the PRO's will disassemble the pedal assembly and Ammonia Dip all the components to see the conditions of all parts received. If replacement parts are needed, these parts will be an additional cost. Pedal bushings, spring, pads and hardware are included in the purchase of this service. The OEM Clutch Lever will be reused if possible. If not, a replacement clutch shaft will be supplied with the purchase.

All steel parts will be powder coated satin black and the pedal base will be smoothed out, bead blasted and oil soaked for a clean, sano, finish. All Pedal Builds will have the early Cruiser Pedal conversion, that allows "The Standard" Cruiser pedal to be installed. All standard steel parts will be gun blued.

New Cables are optional. Pictures shown are from our Chassis Builds and only include what is listed above.

OEM PRObuilt Chassis Pan Frame - 1075 OEM PRObuilt Chassis Pan Frame - 1075

This might be the greatest idea the PRO's have ever come up with. A VW Chassis, also known as a pan or frame, completely built and gone through, ready for you to build up. I know, right?

What would it come with and what do we do? Great question. Our clients come from everywhere on the Globe and finding someone to do the job right is getting harder and harder. So we came up with a solution. Let's supply our clients with a titled and factory numbered PRObuilt Chassis, ready for you to bolt on your suspension and transaxle.

What's new and what is rebuilt? Another great question. We take an OEM Chassis, have it chemically stripped and inspected. One it has passed the quality control department, new pan halves and chassis inspection plates are installed. The old gas line is removed. Your shift linkage is rebuilt with a delrin shift bushing if applicable. After all this work is done, it will be coated in satin black finish and crated for shipping. Each chassis will come with a title and a bill of sale.

Want the chassis seal installed? It's an option.
Want a fuel line system to be installed? It's an option.
Want all the seals, grommets and donuts to assemble the chassis? That's an option.
Want to Line-X the pan halves, top and bottom? That's an option.

Currently, this is going to be a standard Beetle offering for now with a future of Karmann Ghia and Thing to follow.
