Q: Is welding required for this kit? A: Yes. The rear kits require welding

Q: Does the body need to come off to install the air ride? A: To do it right, yes. If you have a pit or lift, it can make it easier but the PRO's recommend to remove the body, it should only take 1-2 hours to make that happen and the ease of installation triples.

Q: Can the heaters still work with the air ride kit installed? A: Simple answer, No. If you are fabrication friendly, you can make it work.

Q: What kind of time would it take to install this on my VW? A: 8 hours.

Q: Can I use an electronic air management kit with your air ride? A: You can, but we will be unable to tech support any issue as we don't have the ability to recreate any issues or problems with every vendors AMK and their updates.

Q: Do you offer a bolt on solution? A: No sorry.

The only thing that could be better with this kit is if the metal pieces were powder coated (cosmetic is all). Other than that. Top notch.

I purchased my rear air ride kit from the pros at Airkewld because after spending months searching I couldnt find a nicer better sorted kit anywhere. There are a few kit from bolt on to weld on out in the world. But this kit from Airkewld was the most complete for the money that I could find. Once I received my kit I made a simple unboxing video to show the kit as you receive it. I must say that the kit is very well packaged and all the components look great. I was expecting the gauge of the steel on the mounts to be thicker, but give the H beam design after you weld the three parts together that would be overkill. Everything in this kit looks awesome and well designed. Sadly I am a few weeks away from staring the install process but I believe that this kit will work awesome. I am very pleased with the quality of the components in this kit and will recommend it to anyone.

got the kit in a few short weeks, great quality metal and hardware. only down side was the instructions included, very difficult to understand with little pictures. I suggest downloading the pdf file so you can see the pictures in color. Brackets did need some notching and fabricating because all bodies are different and it is required. all in all great product, bug officially lays frame and easily goes up around 6 inches in travel.

Customer Service was awesome!!!!!!! I called left a message and Pete called me back the next morning. I told him what all I had and what I was wanted to do. Lo and behold Whamy!!! He made it so easy to gather up the rest of the parts I was looking for I would recommend anyone and will buy from them again.
