⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A complete, bolt-in beam solution—assembled by the PROs and narrowed correctly for your Classic VW.
The Smart Way to Adjust a Link Pin Volkswagen
The simplest and most cost-effective way to raise or lower a 1949–1965 Classic VW Beetle or Ghia is with a Complete ECObuilt Front Axle Beam Assembly.
When we say complete, we mean it.
This beam arrives fully assembled and ready to bolt in, so you don’t have to track down parts, guess at compatibility, or piece together a front end yourself.
Every ECObuilt Beam is reviewed by a PRO for correctness before it ships — including narrowing, brakes, wheels, and suspension fitment.
If anything needs clarification, we’ll contact you before proceeding.
That’s how we keep ECObuilt simple and safe.
Why ECObuilt Makes Sense
Bolt-In & Go
This is a true bolt-in solution. Most customers complete installation in under 4 hours with basic hand tools. No cutting, no welding—just remove the old beam and bolt this one in.
Built Right, Without the Extras
ECObuilt is designed for customers who want correct fitment and reliable performance without premium finishes or upgraded materials.
You still get:
-
Proper geometry
-
Correct assembly
-
PRO-level inspection
Just without powder coating, stainless hardware upgrades, or premium finishes found in PRObuilt.
Smooth, Usable Ride
With 7.5 inches of suspension travel, the ECObuilt Beam delivers a smooth, predictable ride whether you’re cruising at stock height or running a lowered stance.
No binding. No harshness. Just solid performance.
ECObuilt vs PRObuilt — What’s the Difference?
Both ECObuilt and PRObuilt beams are assembled by the PROs and reviewed for correctness before shipping.
The difference is not safety or fitment — it’s materials, finish, and level of refinement.

Choose ECObuilt if you want the most affordable complete beam done right.
Choose PRObuilt if you want the most refined beam we offer.
That’s it. No pressure. No guesswork.
Narrowed Correctly — No Guessing Required
Wheel fitment is where many Classic VW builds go wrong.
That’s why ECObuilt Beams are available in stock width, 2", 3", and 4" narrowed configurations—without forcing you to guess which one is right.
A PRO reviews your wheel, tire, brake, and suspension setup before your beam is finalized to determine the correct narrowing.
This prevents tire rub, poor stance, and expensive do-overs.
If you already know your desired narrowing, you can note it during checkout and we’ll confirm it before building your beam.

PRO’s Recommendations
Better Stopping Power:
Pair your ECObuilt Beam with one of our Disc Brake Kits (1949–1965) for safer, more consistent braking.
Tighter Steering Feel:
If your steering coupler is worn, upgrading it while the beam is out is an easy improvement.
