⚠️ Note: This kit is sold as a replacement part for Airkewld air ride systems. No instructions are included, and we cannot provide tech support for installation on non-Airkewld applications.

The PRO’s Recommendations

• Remove the body for ease of installation—trust us, it’s significantly easier. While possible with a pit or lift, body-off installation ensures proper fitment and welding access.

• Welding is required. We recommend a certified welder using a 220-amp machine for proper penetration. (TIG or stick is acceptable; 110-amp welders are not sufficient.)

• If you plan to run heater boxes, slight modification and rerouting of the tubes will be necessary.

• For pre-1958 models with split transaxles or parallel spring plate castings, upgrade to 1959–1965 end castings for compatibility.

Installation Guidance

• If funds allow, have a trained technician or one of our recommended installers complete the job.

• Skilled DIY mechanics with the right tools can install this kit, but professional inspection afterward is advised.

• Estimated installation time: varies depending on equipment access (body-off strongly recommended).

Proper shock geometry and bracket alignment will ensure maximum performance from your air ride system. Cutting corners on welding or setup will compromise safety and ride quality.
