Why It Works

Six finger pockets vs. two wing tabs. Triple the contact points. Your fingers lock into the pocket instead of skidding off a soft tab.
Adjusts by hand — cold, hot, or greasy. Contoured grips mean no propeller, no knuckle-slap, no fishing in the toolbox.

Top 5 Install Mistakes — Skip These

Dirty threads. 50K miles of crud in 7mm × 1.0 threads makes the adjuster bind. Wire-brush or thread-chase first.
No lube on the cable. Grease or anti-seize is mandatory. Steel-on-steel galls fast.
Forgetting the back face. Lube the bearing surface where the nut meets the clutch lever — that is where binding shows up.
Excess grease left on the cable. Wipe it. Wet grease is a grit magnet, and grit is what grinds adjusters.
Raw left uncoated. Bare steel surface-rusts in a season. Paint or anti-seize before it goes under the car.

Setting my clutch has never been pleasurable. Usually, i avoud it because the wing nut is such an SoB and i can't get rnough leverage to move it accurately. But with a six shooter, friggin game over. Ample purchase and leverage to make even subtle adjustments.
