American fittings are NPT and require thread sealant during installation.

Stainless Steel Brake Hose with Banjo ends
This is the item I needed to gain the clearance with my A-1 Exhaust System (Muffler). The clearance is tight and looks better than the originaly connector.

Spanned the Gap
I was really frustrated when I found that my steel line wouldn't span the gap to my newly installed rear disc brakes. After realizing that connecting two steel braided lines together was a dangerous idea, I searched and located this steel braided brake hose that was designed specifically for this issue. I couldn't be happier with this solution. They were very easy to install and experienced zero issues during pressure bleeding. Thanks!
