This spindle is for the left hand side of a 1966-1968 Classic VW Beetle. In the US it is classified as the drivers side spindle with the speedometer cable connection. 1966-1968 has a smaller inner bearing and seal than a 1969 and later spindle. An easy way to figure out what spindle you have is by the tie rod end that connects to the spindle. If you have a 17mm nut, this is the correct spindle. If you have a 19mm nut, you have a 1969 and later spindle. This ball joint does not come with an eccentric. That is a separate component that has a swedge fitment to the ball joint shaft. This is a factory VW component.
