Complete Drive-Train Package | Classic VW Type 1 Beetle Ghia

These Terms & Conditions apply to every order of the Complete Drive-Train Package (SKU 111 000 499) for Classic VW Type 1 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Thing, and Kit Car applications offered by Airkewld, Inc. (“Airkewld,” “we,” “us”). The customer placing the order is referred to as “you” or the “Customer.”

Each package is a custom-configured drivetrain assembly that includes:

• PRObuilt Adjustable Beam (width selected by the Customer)
• Front Disc Brakes with custom caliper color
• Complete PRObuilt Transaxle (swing-axle or IRS — rear discs included on swing-axle builds)
• Rear shocks and associated hardware
• Complete brake-system components (master cylinder, lines, fittings)
• All premium hardware, bearings, and seals required for assembly

Configuration options selected by the Customer at order placement include year range, model, static or air-ride configuration, beam width, axle length, transaxle setup, and caliper color, among others.

The Complete Drive-Train Package is engineered, sourced, machined, and assembled specifically for your vehicle and your stated goals. Components are matched to one another and to your wheel/tire and ride-height targets. Because every package is one-of-one to a Customer, components are not interchangeable between Customers and cannot be returned to inventory after the order is placed.

• The Complete Drive-Train Package is paid in full at the time of order. There are no deposits, milestone payments, or balances due at completion. Submitting payment funds engineering, parts allocation, machining, assembly, and your spot in the build queue.
• Payment methods accepted: ACH/wire transfer, certified funds, and major credit cards (a 3% processing surcharge applies to credit-card payments).
• The build does not enter the production queue until payment is fully cleared.

• Specification changes must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) and are accepted at Airkewld’s reasonable discretion.
• Once the build reaches its spec-lock milestone (typically when machining and parts allocation begin), changes will be evaluated case-by-case. If accepted, Airkewld will issue a written change order with any revised pricing and timeline. The Customer’s written confirmation by email is required before changes proceed.
• Costs already incurred — including parts purchased, machine time, coatings, and labor — are not refundable or creditable, even when a change order results in a different final configuration.

• Standard turn-around is approximately 8 weeks from receipt of cleared payment and locked specifications. This is a working estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.
• Lead times may be affected by vendor or supplier delays, machining or coating queues, freight carrier performance, and other circumstances outside Airkewld’s reasonable control.
• Airkewld will provide periodic build updates and will notify the Customer in writing if a material delay is anticipated. Delays of this kind do not constitute grounds for refund.

• Once the build is complete, Airkewld will notify the Customer with photos. The Customer has 14 days from the completion notice to confirm pickup or shipping arrangements.
• If shipping or pickup arrangements have not been confirmed within 30 days of the completion notice, a storage fee of $25 per day will begin to accrue.
• After 90 days without resolution, Airkewld may invoice accrued storage fees and continue to hold the package until those fees are settled in full.
• Pickup at our Goodyear, AZ facility is by appointment only.

Because the Complete Drive-Train Package is custom-engineered to your specifications, all sales are final. Once an order is placed and payment is received, no refunds (full or partial) will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

• A change of mind or change in personal circumstances (including divorce, employment changes, relocation, illness, or financial reasons)
• The Customer’s chassis, body, or other vehicle components being found unsuitable, damaged, bent, rusted, or otherwise unusable for the intended build
• Delays caused by parts vendors, suppliers, or freight carriers
• The Customer’s decision not to proceed with any separate Airkewld service (such as a Chassis Build) that would have made use of this drivetrain
• The Customer’s inability or unwillingness to take delivery

This policy applies to the full purchase price.

Even though all sales are final, Airkewld will not leave you without your package. Every Complete Drive-Train Package includes the following at no additional cost:

Lower 48 Shipping (United States customers) — Complimentary freight shipping from our Goodyear, AZ facility to any business or residential address you designate within the contiguous United States. Your package will be crated to our standard and shipped by a freight carrier of Airkewld’s selection.

Freight Forwarder Shipping (International customers) — Complimentary freight shipping from our Goodyear, AZ facility to a US-based freight-forwarding terminal of your choice within the contiguous United States. Onward shipping from the US freight forwarder to your international address — including all duties, taxes, customs brokerage, port handling, ocean or air freight, and international transit charges — is the Customer’s sole responsibility.

Additional terms for the complimentary shipping benefit:

• The benefit applies once per package and must be exercised within 12 months of the build completion notice.
• Shipping addresses provided after a freight booking is confirmed may incur reconsignment fees, which are billed at the carrier’s cost.
• Liftgate, residential, inside-delivery, and limited-access surcharges, where applicable, are billed at the carrier’s cost unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Hawaii, Alaska, US territories, and shipments outside the contiguous United States do not qualify for “Lower 48 Shipping” and instead fall under the Freight Forwarder Shipping option above.

• Title and risk of loss transfer to the Customer upon Airkewld’s tender of the package to the freight carrier (or upon Customer pickup at our facility).
• The Customer is required to inspect the crate and contents at delivery. Any visible damage must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt and reported to Airkewld in writing within 48 hours of delivery so a freight claim can be opened.
• Airkewld’s published PRObuilt product warranty (as displayed on the airkewld.com product page) continues to apply on its own terms and is separate from these Terms & Conditions.

• Provide complete and accurate vehicle information at order placement, including year, model, chassis condition, target wheel/tire fitment, and ride-height goals.
• Respond to specification questions and approval requests in a timely manner. Build delays caused by an unresponsive Customer do not constitute grounds for refund or compensation and may trigger the storage terms in Section 6.
• Confirm a deliverable shipping address or pickup appointment before the completion notice expires.

Adding the Complete Drive-Train Package to the cart and completing checkout on airkewld.com constitutes the Customer’s acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. No separate signature, initial, or written acceptance is required. The act of placing the order is the agreement.

By completing the order, the Customer specifically acknowledges that they have read and understood the following:

• The package is a custom, made-to-order product.
• The package is not eligible for refund under any circumstance.
• Airkewld’s complimentary lower-48 / freight-forwarder shipping benefit is the agreed alternative remedy and is the sole remedy provided in lieu of a refund.

These Terms & Conditions are incorporated by reference into every order of the Complete Drive-Train Package and may be updated by Airkewld from time to time. The version in effect on the date of order placement is the version that applies to that order.
