This is the whole build, in one payment. Pick your style above, pay in full, and you take the next open slot on the Airkewld build calendar — with your PRObuilt pedal assembly included as our thank-you for trusting us with the whole thing.

Already paid your $5,000 reservation? Don't order here — you'd be paying twice. Your balance invoice comes directly from us at your locked price, 14 days before your build month. Questions? Call 623-518-3537.

Pay-in-full bonus

PRObuilt pedal assembly — included at no charge. It's on the "not included" list for everyone else. Not for you.

How it works

  • 1. Pay in full todayChoose your style and options above. Your price is final at checkout — fixed, all-in, straight titled pan included, nothing to ship us.
  • 2. We confirm in writingWithin one business day, a PRO calls to confirm your spec, your slot, and your delivery window — and you get it all in writing.
  • 3. Built & deliveredYou take the next open slot. Roughly 15 weeks after your build begins, your chassis arrives at your door on roller wheels and tires — ready for body and engine.

One fixed price per style

Build style All-in price Built for
Stock $27,000 Restorers & daily cruisers
Dropped $27,000 The Cal-look crowd
Performance $32,500 Drivers, not trailer queens
Air Ride $34,500 Show builds & stance
Shortened chassis (buggies & kits) — any style +$4,200 added at checkout
Using your own chassis pan −$3,500 call Pete first — see below

Every build includes: straight titled pan (sourced & restored by us), PRObuilt transaxle, PRObuilt suspension set up for your style, complete brake system, rust repair, roller wheels & tires — assembled by the PRO team, delivered rolling. Not included: engine, your forever wheels, shifter, battery. Budget up to $2,500 for delivery.

Want to use your own chassis? Save $3,500 — but talk to Pete first.

We build on your pan only after we've seen it. Text or email us photos — rust we can fix, wrecked or twisted we can't, and we'll tell you straight. If your pan's a good one, we set your build up as a Heritage right on the call and take $3,500 off your price. Call before you order: 623-518-3537.

The fine print, in plain English

  • Your price is final at checkout — what you pay today is the whole build. Confirmed in writing within one business day.
  • Next open slot is yours. We'll confirm your build month and delivery window on the call.
  • Using your own pan? That's a Heritage build — call Pete before you order and your $3,500 savings gets set up right. Ordering online means we're sourcing your pan.
  • Plans change before your build begins? Everything above $5,000 refunds to your card; the $5,000 converts to store credit that never expires — same deal as a reservation.
  • Plans change mid-build? We finish and ship you the drivetrain portion you've paid for. You're never out money with nothing to show for it.
  • Slots are limited — the shop runs six builds at a time.

Terms & Conditions

Complete Chassis Build
Effective April 30, 2026

The Complete Chassis Build is different from anything else we sell. With our PRObuilt drivetrain packages, we’re building a deliverable from the ground up — the package starts as parts on a shelf and leaves the shop as a finished product we own until you pay for it. A Chassis Build is the opposite. Your chassis is your property the moment it lands at our door, and it stays your property the entire time it’s here. We are providing labor, expertise, and parts that get installed into a vehicle you own.

That distinction matters because of one specific situation we’ve lived through more than once: a customer ships their stripped chassis to us, we put it on the frame jig, and we discover that somewhere in its history the chassis was hit hard enough to be bent, twisted, or otherwise unsafe to build on. We didn’t cause that condition. We just discovered it. And by the time we discovered it, real labor had already been performed on the customer’s chassis — disassembly, cleanup, inspection, documentation — and real parts had been ordered.

For that reason, the Complete Chassis Build is a paid-in-full, non-refundable work order. We will be honest, transparent, and deeply experienced through every step. We will photograph and document the chassis at intake. We will tell you what we find, in writing, with photos. If we find a problem, we’ll lay out your options — repair where possible, replace the chassis at additional cost, or terminate the work order — and we’ll let you make the call. What we won’t do is refund money already spent on labor performed and parts purchased.

We also handle logistics differently than the drivetrain package. Because the chassis is your property — not something we built and are delivering to you — inbound and outbound shipping are not included. You can deliver and pick up the chassis yourself at our Goodyear, AZ shop, or we can quote and arrange logistics on your behalf for a fee. Either is fine. We just want it spelled out up front.

The full terms below explain how all of this works.

1. What This Agreement Covers

These Terms & Conditions apply to every order of the Complete Chassis Build (a labor-and-parts service performed on the Customer’s own Classic VW Type 1 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Thing, Kit Car, or compatible chassis) offered by Airkewld, Inc. (“Airkewld,” “we,” “us”). The customer placing the order is referred to as “you” or the “Customer.”

A Complete Chassis Build is a service performed on a chassis the Customer owns and supplies. The service includes some or all of the following, depending on the configuration ordered: chassis disassembly, cleanup, frame-jig inspection and squaring, structural repairs (where feasible), pan reinforcement, suspension and steering integration, brake-system integration, fuel and electrical routing as applicable, primer/paint/coating prep, reassembly, and final QC.

The specific scope of work for each Customer’s order is documented in the order confirmation and any subsequent change orders.

2. Customer-Owned Chassis
  • The chassis is, and remains, the Customer’s property at all times. Airkewld does not take title to, supply, or warrant the chassis itself.
  • Airkewld’s work is limited to the labor and parts described in the order. Any PRObuilt or other Airkewld-branded parts installed during the build carry their own published product warranty (separate from these Terms & Conditions).
  • The Customer warrants that they own the chassis and have the legal right to have work performed on it.
3. Inbound Logistics
  • Inbound shipping or transport of the Customer’s chassis to our Goodyear, AZ facility is the Customer’s sole responsibility, including all freight charges, packaging, strapping, crating, and insurance.
  • Risk of loss or damage to the chassis during inbound transit is on the Customer (or their carrier). Airkewld is not responsible for damage that occurs in transit prior to intake.
  • As an optional service, Airkewld can quote and arrange inbound logistics on the Customer’s behalf for a separate fee. This service must be requested and approved in writing prior to dispatch.
  • The Customer is required to schedule a delivery appointment with Airkewld before any chassis is shipped or hand-delivered. Unscheduled deliveries may be refused at the dock.
4. Chassis Intake & Frame-Jig Inspection

Every Chassis Build begins with a documented intake. Airkewld will:

  • Photograph the chassis as received
  • Log the chassis VIN (where applicable), visible condition, and any obvious pre-existing damage, repairs, or modifications
  • Place the chassis on our frame jig and perform a structural inspection
  • Issue an intake report to the Customer, in writing and with photos, before substantial reassembly labor begins.

The intake report is the single source of truth for the as-received condition of the chassis. It is the Customer’s responsibility to review the report promptly and respond to any findings.

5. Chassis Condition — Customer Disclosures

At order placement, the Customer must disclose, to the best of their knowledge:

  • Any prior accident or impact history
  • Any prior frame, pan, or floor repair (including welds, patches, fillers)
  • Any prior chassis modifications (shortening, narrowing, channeling, IRS conversion, etc.)
  • Any rust repair, body filler, or non-original metal that the Customer is aware of
  • Any time the chassis has been disassembled, stored, or moved between owners.

Inaccurate or incomplete disclosures do not entitle the Customer to a refund if the undisclosed condition affects the build. They may also affect the work order’s scope, timeline, and cost.

6. Discoveries During the Build — Unusable or Compromised Chassis

The condition of a stripped chassis cannot always be fully assessed until it is on the frame jig and disassembly is complete. If, during the intake inspection or any later phase of the build, Airkewld determines that the chassis is bent, twisted, structurally compromised, or otherwise unsafe or impractical to build on, Airkewld will:

  1. Stop further reassembly labor on the affected area.
  2. Document the condition with photos and written notes.
  3. Notify the Customer in writing within a reasonable time.
  4. Present the Customer with the available options, which typically include:
    • Repair the existing chassis, where structurally feasible, at additional cost (quoted in a written change order).
    • Replace the chassis with a sourced replacement (Airkewld can help locate one), at additional cost — including the price of the replacement chassis, additional labor, and any logistics.
    • Terminate the work order under Section 11 below.

The Customer’s selection of an option must be confirmed in writing by email before further work proceeds. Discovery of pre-existing chassis damage does not constitute a breach of contract by Airkewld and is not grounds for a refund of work already performed or parts already purchased.

7. Payment
  • The base Complete Chassis Build work order is paid in full at the time of order. There are no deposits, milestone payments, or balances due at completion for the base scope.
  • Optional services (inbound logistics, outbound logistics, replacement chassis sourcing, chassis repair, change-order scope, etc.) are quoted and invoiced separately and are due before the corresponding work or shipment proceeds.
  • Payment methods accepted: ACH/wire transfer, certified funds, and major credit cards (a 3% processing surcharge applies to credit-card payments).
  • The build does not enter the production queue until payment is fully cleared.
8. Specification Changes & Change Orders
  • Specification changes must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) and are accepted at Airkewld’s reasonable discretion.
  • Once the build reaches its spec-lock milestone (typically when machining and parts allocation begin), changes will be evaluated case-by-case. If accepted, Airkewld will issue a written change order with revised pricing and timeline. The Customer’s written confirmation by email is required before changes proceed.
  • Costs already incurred — including parts purchased, machine time, coatings, and labor — are not refundable or creditable, even when a change order results in a different final configuration.
9. Build Timeline & Delays
  • Standard turn-around for a Complete Chassis Build is communicated at order confirmation and depends on the configuration. The timeline begins from the later of (a) receipt of cleared payment or (b) intake of the Customer’s chassis at our Goodyear, AZ facility.
  • All timelines are working estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Lead times may be affected by chassis condition findings (Section 6), vendor or supplier delays, machining or coating queues, freight performance, and other circumstances outside Airkewld’s reasonable control.
  • Airkewld will provide periodic build updates and will notify the Customer in writing if a material delay is anticipated. Delays of this kind do not constitute grounds for refund.
10. Completion, Pickup & Outbound Logistics
  • Once the build is complete, Airkewld will notify the Customer with photos. The Customer has 14 days from the completion notice to confirm pickup or outbound logistics arrangements.
  • Pickup option — The Customer may pick up the completed chassis at our Goodyear, AZ facility, by appointment only, at no charge.
  • Outbound logistics option — As a separate, optional service, Airkewld can quote and arrange outbound shipping (lower 48 destinations or a US freight forwarder of the Customer’s choice for international clients) for a fee. Quoted logistics fees are billed separately and are due before dispatch. International duties, taxes, customs brokerage, port handling, and onward international transit charges are the Customer’s sole responsibility.
  • If pickup or outbound logistics arrangements have not been confirmed within 30 days of the completion notice, a storage fee of $25 per day will begin to accrue.
  • After 90 days without resolution, Airkewld may invoice accrued storage fees and continue to hold the chassis until those fees are settled in full.
11. No Refunds — All Sales Final

The Complete Chassis Build is a labor-and-parts service performed on the Customer’s own property. Once the order is placed and payment is received, all sales are final and no refunds (full or partial) will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • A change of mind or change in personal circumstances (including divorce, employment changes, relocation, illness, or financial reasons)
  • The Customer’s chassis being found, after intake, to be bent, twisted, structurally compromised, rusted beyond repair, previously modified in a way that prevents the build, or otherwise unusable
  • The Customer declining to pursue a repair, replacement chassis, or change-order option offered under Section 6
  • Delays caused by parts vendors, suppliers, or freight carriers
  • The Customer’s decision not to proceed with any separate Airkewld service (such as a Drive-Train Package) that would have been integrated into this build
  • The Customer’s inability or unwillingness to take delivery or pickup.

If the Customer terminates the work order at any point, the following applies:

  • Airkewld retains the full base work-order payment as compensation for inspection labor, disassembly labor, documentation, parts already purchased on the Customer’s behalf, and shop-time allocation already invested in the order.
  • The Customer’s chassis, any parts purchased on their behalf and not yet installed, and any of their original components that were removed during disassembly will be made available to the Customer for pickup at our Goodyear, AZ facility, by appointment, at no charge — or shipped at the Customer’s expense via the optional outbound logistics service.
  • Storage terms in Section 10 apply from the date of the termination notice.
12. Risk of Loss & Inspection on Pickup or Delivery
  • Title to the chassis remains with the Customer at all times. Risk of loss and damage during outbound transit (where the optional outbound logistics service is used) transfers to the Customer upon Airkewld’s tender of the chassis to the freight carrier.
  • For Customer pickup, the Customer is responsible for inspecting the chassis at our facility before departure and for safely loading and securing it onto their transport.
  • For shipped chassis, any visible damage on receipt must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt and reported to Airkewld in writing within 48 hours of delivery so a freight claim can be opened.
  • Airkewld’s published PRObuilt product warranty (as displayed on the airkewld.com product page) continues to apply to PRObuilt parts installed during the build, on its own terms, and is separate from these Terms & Conditions.
13. Customer Obligations
  • Provide complete and accurate vehicle information at order placement, including year, model, chassis condition, prior history (per Section 5), target wheel/tire fitment, and ride-height goals.
  • Deliver the chassis to our Goodyear, AZ facility in a condition consistent with the order — typically stripped of body, drivetrain, interior, and any components not part of the build’s scope, unless the order expressly includes those services.
  • Schedule an inbound delivery appointment before shipping or hand-delivering.
  • Respond to the intake report, specification questions, and approval requests in a timely manner. Build delays caused by an unresponsive Customer do not constitute grounds for refund or compensation and may trigger the storage terms in Section 10.
  • Confirm a pickup appointment or outbound logistics arrangement before the completion notice expires.
14. Acknowledgment by Order

Adding the Complete Chassis Build to the cart and completing checkout on airkewld.com constitutes the Customer’s acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. No separate signature, initial, or written acceptance is required. The act of placing the order is the agreement.

By completing the order, the Customer specifically acknowledges that they have read and understood the following:

  • The Complete Chassis Build is a labor-and-parts service performed on the Customer’s own property.
  • The chassis is, and remains, the Customer’s property throughout the build, and Airkewld does not warrant the chassis itself.
  • The work order is paid in full at order, non-refundable, and final, including in the event the chassis is later found to be bent, compromised, or unusable.
  • Inbound and outbound logistics are not included and are either performed by the Customer (delivery and pickup at our Goodyear, AZ facility) or quoted separately as an optional Airkewld service.

These Terms & Conditions are incorporated by reference into every order of the Complete Chassis Build and may be updated by Airkewld from time to time. The version in effect on the date of order placement is the version that applies to that order.
